seine Weltpremiere im Wettbewerb der Kategorie Orizzonti des Filmfestivals von Venedig haben wird!
Eine Frau (Susanne Wuest) kehrt nach einer Schönheitsoperation zurück zu Ihren Zwillingen (Lukas&Elias Schwarz) mit denen sie am Rande eines Waldes lebt. Das Gesicht noch in Bandagen, scheint auch das Verhalten der Mutter ein anderes zu sein. So dauert es nicht lange, bis die Zwillinge zu zweifeln beginnen, ob es sich denn bei der Person tatsächlich um die eigene Mutter handelt…

In the heat of the summer. An isolated house in the countryside between woods and corn fields.Ten-year-old twins (Elias & Lukas Schwarz) wait for their mother (Susanne Wuest). When she comes back, her head wrapped in bandages after plastic surgery, nothing is as it was before. Stern and distant now, she shuts the family off from the outside world. Starting to doubt that this woman is actually their mother, the boys are determined to find the truth by any means.
