The script for „18% Gray“ is based on the bestselling novel of the same title by Zachary Karabashliev. After his wife left him, a failed photographer stumbles upon a bag of marijuana, and determined to sell it, sets off to a wild trip from London to Berlin that may lead him to the truth about his lost love and ultimately to himself. Das Script zu „18% Gray“ basiert auf dem gleichnamigen Bestsellerroman von Zachary Karabashliev. Nachdem seine Frau ihn verlassen hat, macht sich der erfolglose Fotograph Zack auf eine Reise von London nach Berlin, eine große Menge Marijuana im Gepäck die er zufällig gefunden hat und nun versucht zu verkaufen. Was er dabei findet ist vielmehr die Wahrheit über die in die Brüche gegangene Beziehung, und – sich selbst.
