Susanne Wuest joins Isabelle Fuhrman who will reprise her role as Esther and Stephen Moyer (True Blood) for Lionsgate’s ongoing franchise Orphan 3!

Filming is on the way for Ich ist ein anderer (directed by Felix Randau) a German/Austrian feature co-production.

The story is set in autumn 1952: journalist Hedda (Valerie Pachner) ambushes Felix Kersten (Claes Bang), former massage therapist to SS Reich leader Himmler on a train to Oslo. 

Kersten is said to have helped thousands of concentration camp prisoners to freedom during the Nazi era—at least according to his own account. But Hedda has her doubts.

Susanne will play Irmgard Kersten, Felix Kersten’s wife.

Sound of Falling receives the Jury Prize! Director Mascha Schilinski made history as the first German female director to be awarded at the festival. It’s also the first time in 40 years a Cannes Award goes to Germany!

Sound of Falling premieres in official competition of the 78th edition of Cannes!

Mascha Schilinski’s first features is a multi-generational drama about inherited trauma and fractured identity.

Directed by Mascha Schilinski, this first feature shoots this summer in Sachsen-Anhalt and is produced by Studio Zentral.

Susanne is honored to be part of this year’s jury / official competition of the 55th Int Fantastic Film Festival of Calalonia. William Lustig, Mariana Enriquez, Christophe Mercier and Heidi Honeycutt will also serve.

Directed by Liz Cairns, the film stars Amy Forsyth (CODA) and Susanne Wuest (Goodnight Mommy). Filming will take place in BC, Canada.
