Feierabendzeit an einem Novembertag in Stuttgart. Die Stadt steht im Stau. Alle wollen nach Hause, keiner kommt voran. In einer Wohngegend liegt ein junges Mädchen tot am Rande der Fahrbahn. Der einzige Zeuge ist erst drei Jahre alt und entsprechend unzuverlässig, wie Sebastian Bootz (Felix Klare) bei der eher mühsamen Befragung feststellt. Der einzige Fluchtweg vom Tatort führt geradewegs in den Stau. Also macht Thorsten Lannert (Richie Müller) sich auf zu der Wagenschlange. Einer von ihnen muss der Täter sein.
