Filming has begun on Sundowning, a new psychological horror thriller directed by Ian McDonald („Woman of the Hour“) and currently shooting in Vancouver.

The film follows a young musician suffering from gerontophobia whose search for redemption leads her to a remote care facility where appearances begin to unravel and reality increasingly blurs.

Sound of Falling has received 11 nominations at the German Film Awards (LOLA), including Best Director (Mascha Schilinski), Best Screenplay (Mascha Schilinski & Louise Peter) and Best Cinematography (Fabian Gamper), making it the most-nominated film of the year.
